Winery
The Euro-Ortofrutticola del Trigno Agricultural Cooperative, seeking to consolidate its various activities into a single area to improve the company’s logistical and management efficiency, and driven by its current administrators’ desire to invest in the wine sector both quantitatively and qualitatively, and in the construction of a new winery. This involved transferring the wine production activity, previously carried out in the urban center of San Salvo, to the main headquarters in the Piana Sant’Angelo industrial area.
With this project, we seized the opportunity to interpret the client’s intentions, aiming to achieve a highly functional industrial “product” that could architecturally represent all the objectives of wine production, marketing, and product image.
The culture of wine was approached with an innovative perspective.
The production process, from the delivery of raw materials to their storage, represents the core of the design approach, which is combined with the representation and promotion of the company and its products.
The design of the systems and their environmental sustainability, the control of the internal microclimate, and the containment of the entire energy consumption of the project were key aspects in the project’s development.
