Between Panorama and Ambitious Volumetric Experiments
The site, prized for its unique topography and location, offers exceptiona lviewpoints. While the street level enjoys the peaceful presence of the nearby public garden, the first floor is defined by its immersive seascape. From the terraces, the distinct Trabocchi Coast is prominently visible.
The complex stands out for its refined detailing and seamless blending with the environment. Each architectural feature was thoughtfully designed to highlight the inherent beauty of the location, creating a unique and enriching living experience for its residents. The top floor features a dramatic five-meter overhang, framing a spectacular vista of the Punta Penna lighthouse, aligned with Corso Mazzini. This architectural element provides a privileged viewing experience while simultaneously serving as a significant landmark, marking the building’s presence.
The residents’ common refrain, “It seems this building has always belonged here”, it looks like the proof that the building has become an integral part of the urban dimension and community life. The project incorporated a participatory design phase, in order to involve future residents and local inhabitants to ensure that the building meets their needs and whises.
This collaborative methodology has resulted in living spaces that are functional, inviting, and truly reflective of the local lifestyle. Moreover, the building’s design prioritizes environmental sustainability
