Redefining Urban Identity

Located in Milan’s Ghisolfa district, Ex-Delfico District is a 1960s residential complex. The area, while undergoing significant urban development, is known for its abundant green spaces.
The complex consists of two main buildings, housing 84 apartments. It also features workshops, offices, warehouses, and garages, providing diverse functional spaces.

An energy redevelopment project for Delfico District focuses on enhancing the buildings’ efficiency and sustainability. Key interventions include installing ventilated facades to improve thermal insulation and implementing heating system upgrades to maximize renewable energy use.

These improvements aim to significantly reduce energy consumption and environmental impact. The project also addresses seismic safety by improving the reinforced concrete structure. Additionally, roof demolition and reconstruction are planned to enhance the buildings’ energy and structural performance.
