Balance of Design and Function
The work, built to replace the pre-existing grandstand demolished due to the degradation of the structure, was conceived entirely in prefabrication, meeting the needs and objectives of the project, both compositional and constructional as well as economic.
In this way, the intervention establishes a radical reinterpretation of the use of prefabrication, usually associated with an idea of modularity and standardization of the elements, creating a form that is readable and understandable exclusively as a unicum in its overall organicity.
The project declares the predilection for organic and sinuous forms that, incorporating and diluting within themselves the modules and regularity of the prefabricated structural elements, give shape to an architecture capable of naturally integrating the pre-existing structures and relating to the context in which it is inserted.
The design drive in wanting to overcome the constraints inherent in the use of prefabricated elements, reinterpreting their terms, emerges with the same evidence both on the compositional and structural level.
